2019 APhA Annual Meeting Day 4

3/25/19
Day 4 started early once again with the 2 tests that I missed while in Seattle. Mercer was gracious enough to allow the 2 faculty members in attendance to proctor the various exams to all of the students that were attending the meeting, so I arrived at 7 am to take both my state law midterm and management test.

After that was out of the way, I headed to the leadership transitions meetings. The newly elected National executive committee, outgoing national executive committee, regional officers, and all the members of the 4 incoming/outgoing standing committees all attended for important information from our new president regarding the theme for the year, Fearlessly Authentic, and from the various APhA staff members who help coordinate student activities.

We broke into groups and talked about our strengths and weaknesses, and we spoke with the outgoing members of the various standing committees about their positions and things to keep in mind as we move forward into the 2019-2020 year. We wrapped up the morning with a big group photo of the leadership team. We are all so excited to attend and be reunited at SLI (student leadership institute) this summer in DC.

What an inspiring and busy weekend. I am so excited for the year ahead and am so thankful for the opportunity to attend the annual meeting for the 50th anniversary of APhA-ASP.
