This weekend we headed all the way across the country to San Diego to NCPA Annual Convention! This is my second NCPA Annual Convention and it was such an amazing time. We had 9 students from Mercer attend, as well as our faculty advisor, Dr. Hamrick, Dean Crabtree, and many Mercer alumni.
After a late flight Friday night, we woke up bright and early Saturday morning for a chapter officer breakfast to kick off the student programming. We heard from NCPA CEO Doug Hoey and NCPA President Bill Osborn.

We participated in a challenge showcase and networking lunch, learning from and networking with all the chapters who won the various challenges this year.
We also cheered on all the schools who presented their business plans, including our fellow Georgians from UGA. We also went to the opening reception on the beautiful balcony of the convention center.
I even got to meet up with some fellow Tennesseans.
We visited the Presidential Suite for an opening night party as well! It was such an amazing first day!
