Today is the first Day at the Dome of the year! UGA and PCOM students all headed to the capitol to speak with our legislators about the important issues in pharmacy.
First, we met in the Sloppy Floyd building where we got some breakfast and heard from our GPhA leaders and representatives who support pharmacy!
GPhA CEO Bob Coleman, GPhA Vice President of Public Policy Greg Reybold, Representative David Knight, and Representative Ron Stephens all spoke with us about the important policies we are hoping to get passed this legislative session.
Then we all headed over to the capitol for our annual group photo!

Then it was time to head upstairs and start talking with legislators! Students paged senators and representatives and got to work advocating for the bills that we are hoping to pass this year.
