Greenville, SC

1/18-19/2020

For this long weekend right before the school semester starts for me, and Ben jets off to study abroad in Vienna for 3 months, we all met up in Greenville, South Carolina (just a quick 2 hours from Atlanta) for some super fun family time. Brandon and I arrived late Friday night, and had 2 full days there with my family.

Saturday morning began with everyone going their separate ways. Ben went rock climbing at a local gym and Brandon met up with our friend Connor who now lives in Greenville. I stayed back at the AirBnB to work on some last minute school stuff. We all met up in the cute downtown area to do a little exploring in the drizzly rain.

We had a fabulous dinner at The Melting Pot, our absolute FAVORITE, before heading back to the AirBnB for some fun card games!

Sunday, we started with lunch at White Duck, the most delicious taco place I have ever been to.

My mom and I then went to Magnolia Scents for a candle making class!

And found 2 of the 9 mice hidden on Main Street. (This was my mom’s major goal for the weekend.)

We explored the town a little more, finding some fun murals and gorgeous water towers sprinkled along the skyline.

We then hiked along the Swamp Rabbit trail right next to the river and gorgeous water falls. We even found the Medusa tree!

And we finished the evening with dinner at Saskatoon, a wild game lodge with lots of fun new foods to try.

It was a well spent weekend away, and we are so thankful for a little extra time with family before the year starts getting crazy! Until next time, Greenville!
