We spent the day in Helen, Georgia yesterday, just a short hour long drive from our apartment in Norcross! We were joined by Brandon’s parents, sister, and grandparents and had such a fun Saturday just a couple weeks before Christmas.
We arrived just as the parade was starting and got to watch it make its way through the center of the adorable German style village. We then spent several hours wandering in and out of all the cute shops and admiring the beautiful Christmas decorations.
There was a GIANT live tree in the center of town, all decorated from head to toe.
We stopped at the Hofbrauhaus for dinner, perfect for the German themed town, and reminiscent of our trip to Munich, Germany, where we had eaten at the real one!
We then headed to the Hardman farm, a gorgeous old Victorian mansion that had been decked out in Christmas decorations and was offering tours.
There was a fireplace in every room adorned with fresh greenery!
There was a Christmas tree with a different theme in each room (our favorite of which we got to vote on).
Santa even made an appearance, and forced us to take fun pictures with him!
Such a fun day to celebrate the Christmas season!
