Spring 7 Course Meal

Today we hosted a seven course meal for Brandon’s grandparents and parents at our new house. It was such a fun afternoon and we love being able to try new recipes and host in our new house!

Here is our table setting, complete with a new flowery table cloth and fresh flowers.

Course 1: Appetizers. We had asparagus wrapped in puff pastry and pineapple corn salsa with chips.

Course 2: Salad. We had a blackberry cucumber salad.

Course 3: Soup. We had a vegetable soup.

Course 4: Fish. We had an oven baked lemon garlic butter cod and parmesan green beans.

Course 5: Strawberry sorbet.

Course 6: Meat. We had a slow cooked beef brisket with baked macaroni and cheese.

Course 7: Dessert. We had a vanilla blueberry lemon cake.
